Are You Drinking Drugs From Your Tap Water?

March 12, 2008 in 1 Water by Health Coach Harry

In a recent study conducted by the Associated Press, 41 million Americans are exposed to a variety of prescription drugs without their knowledge, just by drinking their own tap water.

Our scientists have tampered so much with synthetic chemicals that they are no longer decomposing or breaking down into a harmless state.

Here’s what’s been happening:

  1. Your neighbor Stanley takes prescription medication for sleeping pills, antibiotics, sex hormones, insulin, whatever.
  2. Stanley’s body doesn’t absorb everything that he swallows, and he ends up flushing the chemicals down the toilet, when he pees.
  3. All the waste ends up either in your sewer system, or your aquifer.
  4. The water is recycled and cleaned up – supposedly for safe drinking.
  5. The reality is, the cleaning and filtration process has not kept with the explosive proliferation of biochemical agents produced by the food and drug industry.

Public utility companies insist that the dosages are too small to have any significance. The truth is, no one knows the real answer, particularly how these artificial chemicals react with one another.

What are you going to do about this?
